Negotiating MOQ and price
Minimum order quantities and listed prices are rarely final, especially from smaller suppliers — most expect some negotiation, particularly if you're ordering above their stated MOQ or planning repeat orders. Payment is typically structured as a 30–50% deposit upfront with the balance due on shipping or delivery.

What happens after the goods ship
Once your supplier hands the shipment to a forwarder, you'll receive a bill of lading or airway bill, commercial invoice and packing list — the exact documents your Rwandan clearing agent needs to lodge the import declaration.
