Our Licensing & Compliance
Umoja Worldwide Logistics is RURA-licensed, a member of the Rwanda Freight Forwarders Association (RWAFFA), and our clearing staff hold CCFL (Certificate in Customs and Freight Logistics) qualifications. Under Rwandan customs law, importers are required to engage a licensed clearing agency for every shipment — we handle that obligation for you.
Documents We Handle
We prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading or airway bills, certificates of origin, Import Declaration Forms (IDF), and any product-specific permits needed for regulated goods such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals or electronics.
Border Posts & Ports We Operate At
We clear cargo at every major Rwanda border post — Rusumo, Gatuna, Kagitumba, Nemba, Kanyaru, Bugarama and Rubavu — as well as at the ports of Mombasa and Dar es Salaam, ensuring full compliance with the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) at every crossing.
